Synopsis:
Batman learns about the death of Blind Buddy, a jazz musician from New Orleans. Batman attends the funeral which is interrupted by thieves led by a giant man named Moloch who possesses inhuman strength. Batman tangles with Moloch, but the crook escapes.
After the fight, Batman meets Buddy's friend Maxwell Dill. Rufus Macob, a man in a wheelchair, is trying to buy Buddy's possessions, but Dill refuses to sell. Batman recognizes Macob's assistant as a criminal. When Max is kidnapped, Batman finds Macob is responsible. The detective rescues Max who has given Macob the location of Buddy's trumpet.
Batman visits the graveyard where the trumpet was buried with Buddy's body. Macob and his men have unearthed the horn which contains a treasure map. Macob is then revealed to be Moloch. Batman fights Moloch again. This time he defeats Moloch. The trumpet is trampled by a crowd celebrating Mardi Gras. The map is contained is lost forever.
