Blue Crow, an indian medicine man, returns to Rocky City after Sheriff Trigger has run him out of town. Blue Crow delivers a prophecy which comes true about Walt falling from his horse. Walt's wrist is injured in the fall forcing Wayne to take his place.
The medicine man then predicts that the sheriff's guns will fail. When Wayne tries to stop a band of outlaws, his guns fail to hit anything. Wayne escapes with his life. Then a third prediction nearly kills Walt. The twins then spy on Blue Crow and discover that he is working with the outlaws and a stableman was responsible for the accidents. Before the medicine man can succeed with his next plan, the twins apprehend him.
