Synopsis:
Four swordsmen from Spain begin to menace the people of a California village. Don Caballero comes to the defense of the villagers only to see the crest of house Decor displayed on the clothes of the swordsmen. The leader, Varada, knows that Caballero has sworn an oath not to raise his sword against any member of the royal house. When Caballero backs down from the fight, he is thought to be a coward. Instead, Caballero disrupts the swordsmen without using a sword of his own. Eventually Varada challenges him to a duel. Caballero continues to fight without a sword until he discovers that the swordsmen are not really associated with house Decor. Once the ruse is revealed, Caballero easily defeats his opponents.
