Synopsis:
A looter known as El Jacal, the Jackal, has been robbing villages by creating distractions such as floods and explosions to lure townspeople away from their homes. He and his men then raid the homes of the villagers and escape. During one such raid, Don Caballero spots the looters and engages El Jacal in a duel. Caballero disarms El Jacal, but the other looters hit him from behind and escape.
Since the Jackal wore a mask, the only clue Don Caballero has to his identity is a scratch on the hand made by Caballero's sword. The master swordsman then sets out on a tour where he fights the best swordsman in each town. Eventually he meets Montoya, a man with a scratch on his hand.
Caballero follows Montoya and learns of the next raid. He also learns that Montoya plans to poison the sword he uses in the duel. Caballero defeats Montoya, then pretends that he was poisoned. Montoya reveals his plans for the next raid. Once Caballero learns the location he apprehends El Jacal and goes after his men. The swordmaster defeats them all and puts an end to the looting.
