Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty are summoned to the Oceanside Hotel in Atlantic City by manager George Grayson. Before they can learn the purpose of the summons, Grayson turns up dead as victim of a drowning. Slam goes undercover as a lifeguard and learns that three other people have recently drowned.
Slam rescue a woman from drowning who claims she was pulled under by monstrous arms. Shorty is then pulled into the water by a large man. Slam saves Shorty, then returns to investigate. Slam captures the man when he tries to get Ethel again. The killer is revealed as a disgruntled former employee trying to get revenge upon the hotel that fired him.
