Synopsis:
When crooked lawyer Myron Block uses a phony witness racket to get a murderer acquitted, the Crimson Avenger takes interest in the case. The Crimson approaches Block claiming to need an alibi for a murder he is planning to commit. Block agrees to help, providing the murder weapon and a note that will make the death look like suicide.
The Crimson then approaches the district attorney and threatens him, leaving behind the weapon and note. Block's phony witnesses call police at the same time, indicating the they have seen the Crimson elsewhere. Block's fingerprints on the weapon and note cause police to suspect Block was impersonating the Crimson to escape prosecution. Finally, Block is arrested by police.
