Synopsis:
Mr. Barkus has purchased a house built by Senator Sandsfield of Kentucky. The Senator proclaimed that only someone from Kentucky would live in the house. The four previous owners lasted less than three months each. Now Barkus is attempting to have the house itself transported across the state line.
While moving the house, Barkus hears screams from inside. However, when he investigates, he finds no one inside. Eventually, he is driven mad. As Barkus runs down the road, the house begins rolling after him. Barkus is chased off a cliff, and the house comes to a rest just 200 yards from the state line.
