Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty hear a cry for help. When they investigate, they learn that several party guests have been robbed by a "Strong Man" bandit. The detectives try to tackle the thief. The crook gets away, but not before Shorty notices a distinguishing scar on the man's foot.

After the "Strong Man" is implicated in several more robberies, Shorty begins to suspect fighter Three Rounds Bysepps is the thief. While investigating the fighter's locker room, Shorty is dragged into the ring to fight Bysepps. Surprisingly, Shorty prevails, but the fighter has no scar.

When Shorty returns to the locker room, Slam knocks out Bysepps and shows Shorty that the fighter was indeed the thief. Slam has discovered the thief's clothes in a secret locker. The identifying scar had also been covered with flesh-colored tape.
