Synopsis:
A series of robberies have occurred whenever puppet master Gimbo makes a performance. Slam and Shorty begin an investigation of Gimbo and discover one of his puppets is a disguised midget. Shorty takes the midgets place, but Gimbo discovers the ruse. The puppeteer tries to kill the detectives, but Slam and Shorty manage to win the fight. Slam then explains to police how the midget robbed the victims and escaped in the dumbwaiter.
