Synopsis:
Actor Brad Morley aspires to become a hypnotist like Zatara. When the magician hears about Morley's wish, he encourages Brad by making it appear that Morley is better than he really is. Brad gains confidence and decides to pursue hypnotism as a career.

Brad then meets Bronko McGurk who wants to use the amateur hypnotist for criminal purposes. Zatara follows Brad to keep him out of trouble. He then helps stop the crooks. Brad realizes that Zatara was responsible for his increased success, so he returns to his acting career.
