This story is continued from Checkmate #23.
Synopsis:
Peacemaker continues his efforts to track down the men behind the assassination of several scientists. He identifies the killer as a man named Flowers. He is however surprised when he finds out that Pierre Mazarin, the chairman of Disarmament International hired him. Peacemaker arrests Mazarin, but he does not learn who he was working for.
Meanwhile, Kalia Campbell continues to her investigation into the identity of the mercenary named Bishop. Her two top suspects are Checkmate knights.
