Synopsis:
Linda has dreams that she interprets to mean that Eric is alive. The dreams are accurate. Eric has been reborn into the body of Eugene Di Bella. Linda sets out to find Eric as Doctor Fate. She spends days circling the globe in the effort, but ultimately she fails. Exhausted, she lands in a barren area and transforms back to Linda. When she is ready to leave however, she cannot transform back into Doctor Fate.
Elsewhere, the Lords of Chaos torment Doctor Stoner for his failures. After breaking his spirit, they prepare him to become their agent of chaos.
