Synopsis:
Joe Mogul escapes from prison, leaving one of his gang members behind disguised as him to fool his captors. Mogul is accused of killing the district attorney and is worried that evidence might exist at locations around town. He and his men visit these locations and steal seemingly trivial objects which have fingerprint evidence that could lead to Mogul's conviction.

The Crimson Avenger captures one of Mogul's gang and forces him to reveal the location of the gang's hideout. The Avenger and Wing then raid the house, but they are captured. The heroes manage to escape and catch Mogul during his next robbery. Mogul is the sent back to prison and the evidence against him is found.
