Synopsis:
Crime boss Gregory Van Ashley poses as a mystery writer and interviews a bank president. He tells the banker that his next book will involve a bank robbery, so he requests information about bank security. The bank president happily gives Van Ashley a tour of the bank. During the tour, the crooks cuts the alarms.

The next morning Van Ashley and his gang rob the bank. To divert suspicion during the robbery, the gang locks the employees in the vault, and they pose as tellers to keep the customers from realizing that a robbery is in progress. Lee Travis is in the bank and notices the crooks. He exits and returns as the Crimson Avenger. The Avenger stops the robbery and captures one of the crooks, but the others escape.

The Crimson Avenger disguises himself as the captured man and rejoins the gang. They lead him to their hide-out where he and Wing try to apprehend the gang. Unfortunately they lose the fight, and the crooks leave them for dead. The Avenger escapes a death trap, then catches the crooks when they stage their next robbery.
