Synopsis:
Following the fight between Mongul and Superman, a rebellion has broken out on the surface of Warworld. The overseers, sensing Mongul's sudden loss in popularity turn to Draaga to restore order. Draaga then confronts Mongul directly. During their fight, Draaga rips the amulet from Mongul's chest. The amulet is necessary to sustain Mongul's life. With his weakness exposed, Mongul flees from Warworld.
Elsewhere Superman meets with the Cleric and interacts with the Eradicator. Although the Cleric wants Superman to remain with him to discover a lost chapter of his heritage, Superman affirms his decision to return to Warworld to finish what he started.
Back on Earth, Jimmy Olsen brings Matrix, in the form of Clark Kent, to Bill Henderson. Cat Grant confesses to Lois Lane that she was Clark's inside source on Intergang. She now fears for her life and that of her son.
