Synopsis:
Donal, the son of Lord Topaz, and his friend Trey cross paths with an old man who has been the caretaker of a crystal statue of Amethyst. They are observed from afar by the Lords of Chaos and the Child. Using magic, the Child grabs the statue and smashes it. Amethyst is then reborn.
Back at the Topaz palace, Donal's twin brother Wrynn has been haunted by dreams of power. Using dark magic he frees Flaw from imprisonment. Flaw has been influencing Wrynn's dreams and grants him the power he desires. Wrynn is then transformed into Mordru.
