This story continues in Justice League #6.
Synopsis:
The Gray Man escapes the banishment that was placed upon him long ago by the Lords of Order. He captured Doctor Fate, then begins stealing dream-essence from the living. Fate calls the JLA for help. They reach Stone Ridge, Vermont where the Gray Man has begun his plot. The Creeper is already there and informs the team that Stone Ridge has been transformed by magic.
