Synopsis:
The Doom Patrol have been captured by Kalki. He locks Negative Woman's energy self in a satellite and launches it into space. He intends to use her energy to power a device which can kill from space.
Harry Stein locates Kalki's complex. He fights his way into the base and destroys a generator. When the power fails, the Doom Patrol breaks free. Arani stays behind to fight Kalki, whom the others learn is her father.
Robotman, Tempest, and Stein locate the satellite control room. They can find no alternative except to destroy the satellite. In doing so, they believe they have killed Valentina. After Arani defeats Kalki, the conflict is over.
The Doom Patrol then reunite in the medical lab where Valentina and Larry Trainor lay comatose. Suddenly Val regains consciousness. Her energy self was not destroyed and has rejoined her human body. However the energy being inside her is needed to revive Larry, and Val will not give it up.
