This story is presented as Bonus Book #4 and features "Legend of the Amazons".
This story tells the story of one of the Amazons, Mesopee, including the story of her previous life as Larabeau. The Amazons appear concurrently in scenes in Wonder Woman #1 which detail the birth of the Amazons and their battle with the army of Heracles in which they broke free from their oppressors.
Synopsis:
In 4500 B.C., a slave name Larabeau awakens from the bed she shares with her monarch and master Kaleece. She has a waking dream of riding on horseback across green fields into a storm with another woman named Verona. Larabeau slips back and forth between the dream and her reality. When the mad king awakens, he discovers that his hand is missing, having been cut off in battle years earlier. He blames Larabeau for its loss and beats her.
In her dream state, Larabeau is Mesopee, an Amazon who has been shackled by the army of Heracles. She and her sister break free and she slays one of her former captors. Her sister Verona dies to save her. Back in Larabeau's reality, she takes up a sword and slays Kaleece. Guards enter and kill her.
The soul that is Larabeau is reborn in 1200 B.C. as Mesopee. Rising from the waters, given life by the Olympians, Mesopee becomes one of the Amazons.
