Synopsis:
Jennifer Morgan and Faaldren are traveling from Castle Deimos toward Shamballah when they catch the young boy Tinder trying to steal from them. Jennifer questions the boy and learns that he was working for a merchant who was killed by soldiers and beast-men from New Atlantis. He also tells Jennifer that Shamballah has been conquered.
When the soldiers return, Jennifer is wounded. Faaldren is captured. To save them all Jennifer casts an illusion spell that utilizes Tinder's imagination. He conjures up a train which he learned about from the man he met in the dungeons of Shamballah. The illusion successfully drives away the soldiers.
Jennifer is impressed by the boy and astonished by his knowledge of the outside world. She agree to teach him. Neither is aware that they share the same father Travis Morgan making them brother and sister.
