This story is continued from Warlord #52 and continues in Warlord #54.

Synopsis:
Travis Morgan has walked out of Skartaris and shot down a Russian plane. When a helicopter comes looking for the crashed fighter, the Warlord attacks the soldiers within. He then takes the helicopter to speed his way back through the opening to Skartaris. When the helicopter finally runs out of fuel, he crashes it. However, he has accomplished his goal and returned to the inner world where he finds Tara and Shakira.

Meanwhile at Castle Deimos, the sorceress Ashiya returns. She decides to use Jennifer Morgan for her own purposes. Jennifer is stuck in a blank state, so Ashiya removes the traumatic memories of Deimos's making. She then assumes the guise of Jennifer's mother. Ashiya slowly brings Jennifer back to reality, teaching her magic in the process. In exchange, Jennifer begins teaching Ashiya about technology including that of the Atlanteans. Faaldren observes the training with misgivings.
