Synopsis:
Green Lantern decides to help out-of-work lawyer Frank Benton get a case. He also decides to help Joe Stromboli, the beneficiary of a tycoon’s will, who was cheated. GL first rescues Joe from an asylum, where his enemies have placed him. Then he questions the lawyer responsible for the will.
The lawyer, Slagg, is murdered, as is Lester Vane, the phony beneficiary of the will. Green Lantern learns the name of the mastermind is Baldy, and that he works for the Jeffers Corporation.
Green Lantern and Benton begin putting together their case against the corporation, gathering witnesses and victims of an accident racket. GL suspects two men of possibly being Baldy, the President Paul Blane and secretary Delber. Delber is cleared, but Blane turns up missing. When Blane is found near death, the true identity of Baldy is revealed to be Jeffers Corporation Vice-President Arnold Corbin. Corbin confesses, and Stromboli is given control of the corporation.
