Synopsis:
Using the Magic Sphere, Hippolyte sees that in the near future her daughter will be captured by racketeers Duk Dalgan. In order to prevent this event, Hipployte obtains permission to leave Paradise Island for three days, as long as she does not reveal her true identity.
Once in the Man’s World, Hippolyte disguises herself as Diana Prince. Wonder Woman does not know who the imposter really is, so the two women do battle with Hippolyte emerging triumphant. She forces Diana to allow the impersonation to continue, but while investigating the identity of the masquerader, Diana is captured by Duke Dalgan.
Duke uses a special gas to befuddle Wonder Woman’s mind and force her to help steal defense secrets. Hippolyte, pretending to be the real Wonder Woman, helps Steve Trevor and the Holliday Girls find Dalgan. Then using mental telepathy helps her daughter break free. With Dalgan in custody and her daughter safe, Hippolyte returns to Paradise Island without anyone learning her true identity.
