Hunter opens fire on the Vietcong to draw fire away from the wounded. He then successfully escapes and meets up with his guide Lu-Lin.
Lu-Lin takes Hunter to a village. The VC soldiers threaten to kill the villagers for helping the Americans. Hunter protects the villagers, but he and Lu-Lin are chased. They take refuge in a cave. The enemy soldiers throw a grenade inside which collapses the cave entrance. Hunter finds an exit in the ceiling of the cave. He gets out, then surprises the enemy soldiers from above.
