Synopsis:
Dr. McNider tries to discourage a crowd from buying a phony miracle drug from a quack salesman. One of the salesman's partners fakes illness and pretends to be cured by the drug. The crowd is convinced and ignores McNider's advice.
Dr. Mid-Nite takes a sample of the drug back to his lab and confirms that it is only sugar and water. He concocts another formula which tastes bad. He then switches his medicine with that used by the swindlers. When they try the scheme again, the man faking illness thinks he was poisoned.
The crowd gets angry and begins chasing the crooks. Dr. Mid-Nite stops them, but the salesmen is run over by a car and taken to the hospital. Ironically, Dr. Mid-Nite then performs life saving surgery to repair his injuries.
