Synopsis:
Alfred's niece Daphne has taken a job teaching two children. She writes to Alfred, telling him that something is amiss. Batman investigates and learns that Daphne's employer is a warlock trying to raise the demon Ballk. Batman tries to rescue Daphne, who is to be sacrificed. However, he is caught instead. Batman escapes and encounters the ghost of a girl who has sacrificed a generation earlier. Batman reaches Daphne just in time to save her and stop the coven from completing their ritual.
