Synopsis:
Doiby Dickles visits a psychiatrist when he is suddenly unable to drive his cab. Before he can finish with the doctor, crooks rush in and kidnap the psychiatrist. Gang leader Mazda Grady wants Doctor Hockenlocker to help him overcome his fear of the dark. The doctor leaves a clue for Doiby, so that he can follow.
Doiby contacts Green Lantern and a chase begins. Unable to drive his cab, Doiby buys a horse with mental problems of its own. The horse likes to sit on eggs and goes wild whenever they are near.
After several botched attempts to rescue Hockenlocker, GL and Doiby are both captured and left to suffocate inside a car. GL gets them out, then goes after Grady and his gang. When Grady is cornered in a dark room, he gets scared and kills himself. With the gang beaten, the doctor finishes his diagnosis of Doiby, explaining that his shoes were the cause of his driving problems.
