Alan Scott reads the story of leprechaun Owen Cooley over the radio. When kids begin to believe in Cooley, he is restored to life after being frozen by Green Lantern's ring. Cooley helps Doiby by making him some magic shoes, before being caught by Wilbur, an acrobat and crook.

Wilbur forces Cooley to help his brothers commit robberies. Green Lantern intervenes and finally stops Wilbur and his gang. GL asks a pixy to return Cooley to Ireland, but the leprechaun outduels the pixy and remains close to Doiby.
