Synopsis:
Jon Valor is ordered to transport the Spanish ambassador to England. When Valor makes an unscheduled diversion near Heymouth to help a friend, the ambassador attacks him. While the battle is fought, the cliffs of Heymouth open and swallow the ship.

Pirates inside the cliffs try to loot the vessel. They are also responsible for the disappearance of several Spanish vessels. The Black Pirate and his crew defeat the looters, exposing the ambassador as the mastermind behind the plan. Valor also helps his friend, who was accused of witchcraft.
