Synopsis:
Superboy and Krypto begin having dreams about a Kryptonite boy and his dog. Later, the boy turns out to be real. The Kryptonite Kid’s touch also turns objects into Kryptonite. Together, the boy and his dog, try to chase Superboy off the planet.
When Superboy doesn’t leave, the boy tries to kill the Boy of Steel. As Superboy and Krypto suffer from the radiation, the kid explains that he was a criminal sent into space as part of an experiment. He traveled through a Kryptonite cloud and came to Earth to kill Superboy.
Before Superboy expires, Mxyzptlk arrives and teleports the Kryptonite Kid and his dog to the fifth dimension. He also changes all the Kryptonite objects back to normal. When Superboy questions the imps origins, Mxyzptlk explains that he wants to pester Superboy himself and if the Boy of Steel is dead, his fun would be over. Mxyzptlk then returns home.
