Synopsis:
While on patrol, Pooch sniffs out several traps to protect his friends, Gunner and Sarge. Gunner treats Pooch like a human. Sarge appreciates Pooch's senses, but refuses to acknowledge that Pooch has feelings too. After stopping attacks by air, sea, and land Gunner falls ill. Sarge and Pooch go on beach patrol alone. Sarge gets stuck in barbed wire while an enemy plane attacks him. Pooch pulls him to safety. When he returns to camp, Sarge admits that the dog has heart.
