Synopsis:
Batman and Robin return to the Bat-Cave after apprehending Gorilla Hardy. Robin then reveals himself as Fred Loyd, the son of an athlete. He explains that the real Robin was injured, so he took the Boy Wonder's place. He then threatens to reveal Batman's secret identity if the Caped Crusader doesn't allow him to tag along on the next mission.

Batman agrees and working together the two recapture Hardy after a brief escape. Batman compliments Fred, claiming that the boy is as good as the original Robin. Fred then reveals that he is Robin. He disguised himself as a practical joke. Batman knew that Fred was Robin the entire time, because he was tipped off by a small mistake in the disguise. Robin decides that Batman can't be fooled.
