This story is continued from Wonder Woman #39.

Synopsis:
Lois Lane and three others find Wonder Woman bound to the Tree of Discord by Eris. Diana mentally tells Rovo to return to the city for help. He goes, while the others remain behind. In the city, the Amazons and delegates are still fighting. Several of them follow Rovo into one of the buildings where he collects Wonder Woman's costume. Hermes then appears and is able to break the spell affecting Menalippe and Penelope.

Hippolyte leads the Amazons back to Doom's Doorway. With the discord decreased, Wonder Woman is able to free herself from the tree. She helps the others, then confronts Eris. Once Eris is defeated, the spell of discord is fully lifted. Amazons and delegates alike offer apologies for their discord-induced behavior.
