Synopsis:
Arani Caulder visits a memorial for war veterans, and her thoughts are occupied with memories of the Chief. She meets Ellen, a wheel-chair bound elderly woman who is dying. Despite her condition the woman is happy. She takes Arani to a restaurant and a baseball game to teach her to appreciate and enjoy life. She then convinces Arani to help rescue people from a burning building. At the end of the day, Arani takes Ellen to a park fountain where she passes peacefully. Arani returns to headquarters with a new perspective on her own life.
