Synopsis:
A teenage farm boy named Harrigan learns that another farmer falsely claiming to be his guardian has sold the farm the boy inherited from his father. Harrigan takes an old biplane once flown by his father and leaves the farm. In the skies over a nearby city, Harrigan makes an aerial rescue to help a man whose parachute has snagged on the tail of another plane. Upon landing Harrigan meets the skydiver and the other plane's pilot, Ikky Tinker and Prop Wash. Prop nicknames the kid Hop and offers to give the gifted boy flying lessons.
