Synopsis:
A strange device falls from the sky above Central City and begins transforming people into energy beings. Flash destroys the machine, but can't figure out how to restore the people. Reports of another weird machine in Tokyo send Flash to Japan. He disables another device, but is no closer to finding a solution to restore the victims.
On the way to disable another device in Madrid, Flash is intercepted by an alien ship. He gets aboard the ship, but is captured by the pilot Zedabar Zarr. Zedabar explains that he is a weapons dealer transporting stolen weapons. Some of the weapons were bobby-trapped, so he jettisoned them over the Earth. Since Flash has destroyed two of them Zedabar intends to sell Flash to his clients as a human weapon.
When Zedabar leaves to retrieve the other weapons, Flash removes his costume. When the alien returns he claims that Flash escaped and left him in exchange. Zedabar releases Barry, who then puts his costume back on and fights. The alien's physiology allows him to detach body parts, but Flash still defeats him. Flash turns the alien over to the Space-Patrol, who are also able to restore the victims of Zarr's weapons.
