Synopsis:
Kryptonite Kid returns, having been released from a 5th dimensional prison. Using his Kryptonite touch, the boy paralyzes Superboy, but gives the Boy of Steel an opportunity to escape. The kid forces Superboy to exchange Krypto’s life for his own.
Superboy finds Krypto and turns him over to the Kryptonite Kid. However, after a short chase, Krypto appears uneffected by the Kryptonite. He then pushes the Kid’s ship into a cloud of Red Kryptonite. The Red Kryptonite caused the Kid to act benevolent and friendly. Superboy explains that Krypto was just a robot, and the events were planned. The Kid leaves Earth, but Superboy realizes that the effects of the Red Kryptonite are only temporary, and his enemy will one day return.
