Synopsis:
As Zatara prepares to leave Egypt, he receives word that the Tigress plans to steal the Emerald of Cheops from one of the pyramids. Zatara crosses the desert and beats the Tigress to the pyramid. However, while Zatara sleeps, the villainess completes the theft. She then sends a group of desert bandits lead by Abdul the sheik to stop Zatara.

Using his magic Zatara stops the bandits, then orders them to capture the Tigress. He recovers the emerald and returns it to the pyramid. However, Abdul betrays him, stealing the emerald himself, and taking the Tigress to sell on the slave market.

Zatara returns to the city and prevents the Tigress from being sold. He also stops Abdul and once again recovers the emerald. When he returns the emerald to the pyramid for a second time, he seals it inside using magic, so that no one may steal it again.
