Synopsis:
Uli Algor is released from the prison planetoid Takron-Galtos after undergoing a rehabilitation process. Unknown to the administrators of the facility Uli has immunized herself to the effects of their light therapy. She retains her criminal thoughts and desires.
Uli's first action is to challenge members of the Legion. She causes the powers of Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, and Substitute Hero Night Girl to backfire. Brainiac 5 deduces that the remaining members of the team should defeat her without using their powers. Uli evades Brainiac 5's trap, but Phantom Girl follows the villain to her hide-out in the ruins of Midway City. There, Ultra Boy knocks out Uli with a simple non-powered punch.
