Synopsis:
While Carol Ferris seeks medical help for her paralysis, Green Lantern saves the dam protecting the town of Piper Dell when it is threatened by explosives. Following his success, Green Lantern is welcomed by Dr. Wilbur Palm, the mayor of Piper Dell. Palm drugs GL and takes him captive. Before collapsing, Hal sends his ring to Oliver Queen.
When Hal regains his senses, he learns that Palm is his old foe Black Hand. He is using the town of Piper Dell as a company town, and he drugs the residents, sapping them of all will to resist. Green Lantern and Carol are then chased by the townspeople who want to murder them. Ollie arrives in time to return the now-charged power ring to Hal. Green Lantern then stops the mob and apprehends Black Hand.
