Synopsis:
Mark Merlin and Elsa are captured by a group of aliens. They force Mark to change bodies with one of their own. The aliens explain that the body Mark now inhabits belongs to Rej, an exiled leader that is now returning to power on their planet. They claim that Rej is sick and need Mark to impersonate the leader until he recovers.

Mark and Elsa are taken back to the alien planet. Mark fills the role of Rej, but soon realizes that Vorl, the alien commander, intends to use him to usurp power for himself. Mark refuses to name Vorl his successor and is imprisoned with the real Rej.

Mark and Elsa escape from the prison. Then while Elsa distracts Vorl's men, Mark and Rej return to their own bodies. Rej is the able to halt the insurgency and have Vorl arrested. Mark and Elsa are then returned to Earth.
