Comments:
This story inaccurately shows Lana Lang moving to Smallville when she was in high school. It has been established elsewhere that Lana lived in Smallville as a child and grew up with Clark long before they attended high school. It is possible however, that Lana moved away temporarily with her father and then moved back to town during this story.
This story is presented as "An Untold Tale of Superboy".
Synopsis:
During a party at the Kent home, Lana Lang nearly finds the hidden closet where Superboy stores his robots. Superboy then recalls how Lana has suspected him of being Clark Kent in the past. Clark’s resemblance to the Boy of Steel aroused Lana’s suspicions.
Lana tried gaining proof when Clark was forced to visit her uncle, a dentist. Using gas, Clark was able to knock out the doctor while he was trying to pull Clark’s tooth. When he came to, the doctor had apparently pulled the tooth, but it was faked by Clark. Later Superboy convinced a blind doctor to help him by having him sign Superboy’s medical records without being able to see his real name.
With his robot’s help, Clark is able to keep Lana away from his secret storage closet, protecting his identity from her once again.
