Synopsis:
The King investigates a jewel robbery. He searches the underworld until he learns that Louie the Fence has the jewels. Disguised as a crook named English Pete, the King breaks in to Louie's safe and steals the jewels.

When he tries to return them to Mr. Washton, he is told they are fakes. The King returns to Louie's where he learns that the real English Pete is involved with the theft. This time the King takes the real jewels from Louie.

The King returns to the Washtons' house. He then exposes Mr. Washton as an imposter. The man is the real English Pete. The King then sets the real Washtons free and returns their jewels.
