Synopsis:
Scientist Fred Willis leaves Smallville to conduct experiments with a growth serum. When Willis is killed in a volcanic eruption, his infant son is left alone. The baby drinks the growth formula and becomes a giant. The giant baby then wanders aimlessly causing destruction to everything around him.
Superboy finds the giant and realizes that he is only a child. Superboy calls off the military and leads the child to a canyon near Smallville. On the way, the mayor's barn is destroyed when the baby steps on it. Superboy traps the baby in the canyon, then seeks a cure.
Angered by the destruction of his barn the mayor summons the sheriff to help deal with the giant. Instead of killing the baby, they only succeed in setting him loose. Superboy returns inside a giant robot which calms the baby. He then administers an antidote to the growth serum returning the baby to normal. The mayor then adopts the child.
