Synopsis:
When the residents of Thursdyke are driven mad by microwave radiation unleashed on the town, the people begin acting violent. A group of protesters led by Parson Bayliss raid the nearby missile base. John Constantine is also affected, but his friend Una snaps him back to reality by using loud music. While she takes refuge in the town disco with some children, John goes to the missile base to prevent disaster.

When John arrives, he blasts music from his stolen van. The protesters nearby are returned to sanity. However, John is too late to stop Bayliss from stealing a bomber. Meanwhile, the power to the disco is cut. Una is captured by some of the mad townspeople who plan to burn her to death. Their execution is interrupted as Bayliss crashes his plane into the ground, setting off his bombs and killing everyone in the immediate vicinity.

John is spared from the blast. He watches helplessly as the media attempts to blame the protesters for the tragedy which destroyed the town of Thursdyke.
