Synopsis:
The Blackhawks are approached by a mystery man who warns them of an impending doom, then disappears. The man's prediction comes true, and the team believes that he causes the disaster. The man reappears and warns the group of another disaster. The Blackhawks try to capture him, but once again he disappears.

The Blackhawks prevent the second disaster, then are once again approached by the mystery man. He explains that a sorcerer used his powers to make him famous. The man claims that his actions are beyond his control. He leads the Blackhawks to a third disaster. After the trouble is averted, both the Blackhawks and the man realize that "Mr. Doom" was only predicting the disasters, not causing them. The man then earns fame as the sorcerer promised.
