Synopsis:
A thief, Hank Roney, steals a gem from a sacred temple in the Middle East. When exposed to sunlight the gem releases a giant orange monster. The monster attacks the Challengers who are at a nearby archaeological dig. They manage to trap it in a cave in, then visit the shrine where the gem was stolen. A wise man explains the legend behind the gem and reveals that it contains another creature.
Roney releases the other creature and now realizes that possession of the gem gives him control over them. The original monster escapes, so Roney threatens a nearby village with the two beasts. The Challs manage to get the gem from Roney and return the beasts to their imprisonment. Taking the advice of the wise man, the Challs destroy the gem.
