Synopsis:
Rip and the team travel back in time to 800 A.D. to investigate a coin found from that era with Corky’s image on it. Upon their arrival Rip and Jeff are captured by the king who believes them to be spies. King Rollo also looks exactly like Corky.

The king is later captured himself by the traitor, Duke Svend. With the king missing, Corky impersonates him and frees his friends. Svend learns of the imposter and convinces the king that Corky and Rip are the real enemies along with Axel, Rollo’s minister of state. Using a magical creature costume Svend returns Rollo to the castle, imprisoning Axel and the royal guard, while Rip and company escape in the time sphere.

Corky sneaks back inside the castle and convinces Rollo of the truth by showing him to coin from the future. Rollo then assists Rip and Jeff free the guards from the dungeons and prepare for an assault from Svend’s forces.

The assault is led by Svend in another creature costume. While the royal forces are adequate to defeat the opposing men, the magic creature is too powerful. Rip is finally able to defeat the creature by removing the head of the costume from Svend, nullifying the magic. With Svend defeated Rip and the team depart in peace.
