Synopsis:
Lana Lang finds a magic wand with her father's artifacts. Superboy is forced to make the wand's magic appear real in order to stop a bank robbery and protect his secret identity. Afterwards he is forced to continue making Lana appear to have magical powers.

Lana decides to become a stage magician. Superboy secretly helps her perform the tricks. Crooks led by Big-Brain Baines try to steal the wand, but Superboy stops them. When Lana uses the wand to make Clark Kent invisible, she is unable to restore him to normal. Lana is then forced to destroy the wand to save her friend. With the wand broken, Superboy no longer is forced to continue secretly performing Lana's magic.
