Synopsis:
Wonder Woman investigates conflicting reports of meteor strikes on Earth. She can't find evidence of meteors, but she suspects that Earth is under attack from a new space weapon. When she visits Paradise Island, she finds her fellow Amazons have been knocked out by this same weapon. She races to bring them healing herbs to save their lives.
Once the Amazons regain consciousness, Wonder Woman teams with Astra of the Infantas. They fly into space and find a giant lens that is sending deadly solar rays to Earth. Wonder Woman tries to destroy it, but she is captured by Mars and his cronies.
Wonder Woman and Astra find themselves held captive. The Duke of Deception uses Wonder Woman's lasso to compel her to focus the lens for another attack on Earth. Wonder Woman uses a pebble to strike Deception's hand, causing him to drop the lasso. Once free of its power, Wonder Woman forces Mars and his forces to retreat. She then destroys the lens weapon.
